I took out a rock to scrape off some junk zoas and noticed a tiny "anemone" looking thing in a hole of the rock. It wasn't getting any light. It is transparent with no color except a hint of transparent neon toxic green. They have a tentacle span of about a dime and their head is about the size of a pea. Then, as I watched a giant flatworm crawl across the back of my tank I thought...are those "anemones" anywhere else? Yes they are. Probably not what I shouldve been thinking while I was watching the flatworm. I noticed them in certain porous rocks. They don't come out during the day. I know because I searched my entire tank as soon as I found the first two. Does anyone know what they are?

Thank you for your time,

Kevin

Ps...pics are terrible but its all I can get. They just aren't photogenic.

If it's mostly clear and has white bubble tips then it's probably a strawberry nem. Not a pest in my opinion.

Looks like a ball anemone, they prefer dark places.I have several in my tank, and I haven't notice any problems them.
