CB - BPC Flamethrower Chalice Call Out :(

How can I start here?

Mods please allow me to write this thread. Sorry if I make too much trouble.

Friend of mine (can't list his name - if he want to jump in here then it is up to him) share with me a frag called "BPC Flamethrower Chalice" few years back which was bought from CB Ebay Store. You figure out the $$$$ from CB..

Then it time to frag it for some money to buy some tank equipments. I listed frag for sale with pictures of frag and mother colony. Within few hours gentlemen name @tristanfish want to buy it.

He paid and we did texting back and fort last night. This afternoon we did call and he want stop payment for the frag. I told him no problem and if he need me to do the refund for him thru PayPal I can do it later because I am on the road with my wife for shopping.

I feel bad because people will think I am rob or scam reefers money. That why I want to call CB Richard Negret out to prove this is his CB flamethrower or BPC flamethrower. Richard I don't know your screen name here or you sponsor here so if you read this please would you mind answer the question. Thanks

1) If this not BPC flamethrower why you put the name to BPC on Ebay to sell to reefers? You still sell high money without BPC name, because it is nice Chalice.
2) If this is real BPC flamethrower can you give us a proof that is BPC?

Sorry I am not bashing you CB (Richard Negret) but I feel like crook and scam. Few hundred dollars no make my life longer or feed me a whole month. My job is take care of my family more than enough. This is just hobby to sell and buy corals back and fort. It's fun but in this situation make me sick.

I text my friend asked him this morning about the proof of purchase from CB but he said it been long time he try to find the proof. He text me this morning and said "Bought it years back and still looking for records purchased from Ebay CornBread Store (Richard Negret).

Sorry @tristanfish if you feel I scam or rob your money. If PayPal not refund you then I will refund you.

I almost sell another frag of this FT to local reefer (@reefaboo) but I did text back and cancel selling the second frag to reefaboo. Thanks god I didn't tell him PayPal me.

Well good to see u came forward on it to make things right !!! That's the most important thing. A lot of ppl are getting fakes and posting as bpc , I certainly know what the real ones look like as I owned a few of them that grew out to nice size piece . That piece there has green on the rim from the other pic u posted like it was a rainbow , so def not real . Hope u can square away with cb asap

You're stepping up and trying to do the right thing. To me that shows you're a stand up guy. Nice to see you're putting you're reputation first in today's world. Unfortunately I've also had bad dealings with cb. He has his clients that swear by him. But also seems to have a fairly large number of upset people as well. Hopefully you can get this figured out n somehow resolved.

There's always been issues with this chalice especially 2 or 3 years back when some colonies came in looking like the bpc ft only problem with those was the rainbow rim once grown out I once had the real deal og bpc ft that came from a reefer on here from Indiana who originally got it from Katrina also from Indiana I believe anyhow that above does not look like a real bpc to me but that's my .02 take it 4 what it is a nice chalice perhaps flamethrower 2.0

I'll start by saying....
I am no expert, at chalices ID nor to this hobby. I like shiny and pretty things in my tanks. I am a student and admirer of this fine hobby.

As for this transaction,
The only thing I would say is Maidia was a true gentleman. I voice my concerns because there are some good people in this industry that reached out to me and gave me good advices.

I expressed it with Maidia the next day and he offered a full refund.

@maidia there is no mistake of yours in this i think. you listed it as it is sold to you by a prominent vendor and you dont have to be sorry.

the reason i never asked you lineage about any of the pieces i bought from you is cause i know for sure that i can text you after 2 years and ask you about that piece and you will stand behind it.

well the way i understand it ..little green on the rim makes it "no longer BPC Flamethrower"

if there is a buyer who wants it, it still is a $650 piece

Mai, you are a stand up reefer to step up, ask the right questions and even cancelling the 2nd transaction. This hobby definitely needs more reefers like you. Hopefully you'll be able to get CB to chime in and confirm the exact chalice he sold to you. If you never get confirmation on what this chalice is, she still is a beauty. I'm sure you will still be able to sell affordable frags without attaching the BOC Flamethrower label on it. Happy reefing!
