Is it just the specks? From googling, it almost seems like the ones you got look like salted agaves or blue agaves. Were they sold to you as White Zombies?

Yes, I bought these are White Zombie and you're right they look really similar to salted agaves or blue agaves.
Also, you're right wit your statement above. I don't have a better explanation for the differences of this compare to the others than the person who named these, but they look super nice in person to me compare to Blue Agave or Salted Agave
