Sorry for the low quality video!
Mine is a monster. It will eat Mysis, brine, angel food preps, butterfly preps, aptasia, large plankton and even tear up some large krill.

I'm trying to get a better video of her eating, but whenever I'm by the tank, it just stares at me :)

Here it is eating baby mysis and butterfly prep out of the water column. Again, bear the video, it's been taken on my phone.

Tearing up Krill.

Mine eats any thing meaty. I bought mine a few years back,it has tripled in size. One of the cheapest fish I own 19.99 on sale. And by far one of my favorite's. that thing watches me all the time.

Oh yeah, mine is a character. It loves to watch me. Makes me wonder who watches who more?!?

I guess I was lucky.it ate right from the get go, I asked to see it eat before I bought it, It ate every aptasia it could reach first, then I started with raw scallops cut into very small bite size bits and raw shrimp.
I have no aptasia in my tank either. Awesome fish! Just wish mine hadn't taken a liking to my NPS coral.

Stunk!!! But, I'd rather have the fish and no aptasia

Where they hard to get to eat?

Mine was finicky at first, but I didn't feed it any special diet. I feed the tank a lot and I had lots of little feather dusters that it would eat. Then one day, a light switch went off and it realized it could eat everything I put in the tank. Even nori! So I'd consider myself lucky as well

Mine eats anything frozen. I got him from Humblefish who gets the credit for that. He is amazingly outgoing and tame.

Has anyone noticed that you can hear them when they eat? When he grabs something out of my hand it makes an audible noise...almost like something rattling in a box. He also shakes his head from side to side when I approach the tank, kind of like an excited/nervous tic.

This is him eating LRS.
