I posted this in the fish section and was wondering of locals experiences with these fish.

I've been wanting to get a CBB for a while now and a LFS has one in Stock but according to LA they may nip or harass bubble tip anemones. Has anyone else experienced this?

Also any extra care techniques for keeping them would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I haven't seen mine nip at my rbta. They are just hard to get to eat. The one I got eats like a pig. It also are all my aptasia

I've had mine 7 months. Ate all my aptasia. Has not touched either of my bta at all. Took mine 4 months to hit the frozen good. Mine loves frozen mysis and purposely picks that from my frozen cocktail of choice. Get one that iis fat and healthy. Have plenty of pods and aptasia.

He ate a few of the live brine I fed tonight, he responded when other foods were added but I didn't see him eating any. But it's day one and it's a little stressed; hope it gets better with time.

I had mine for over a year. He did great and I loved him to death. Mysis shrimp was his favorite. Sad day coming home from work and out of the blue finding him breathing hard lying on the sand. Was so sudden.

Here is a not so great phone pic I got of it yesterday.

How is your butterfly doing Brandon? 7 seas has two and I was looking one over pretty hard yesterday. Not sure I want to take the plunge. The owner said he can't get either of them to eat yet....

Such a good looking fish Lindsey. I really want one but I not sure I want to drop the $$ on one for it to starve and not eat.

Ate at the store and couldn't get it to eat at home.

A very tentative fish, if you have anything remotely aggressive I wouldn't add one.

Paul if you really really want to get one that will be for sure healthy, I recommend you take a trip to Atlanta, namely a store called Pure Reef, they have all their fish in hyposalinity for parasites, and also all their CBB are eating flakes before they sell them. I personally wanted one but did not have the space.
