CBS Dead or Molt?

Hi all,
Just wondering if my beloved CBS is in the middle of a molt or dead? I think its a molt. He has been inactive for about 2 days now.

Molt. A dead shrimp is white, not transparent.

+1 for molt. They tend to hibernate during the molt to avoid predators.

In case you weren't aware already, those guys will put their claws to good use. They're opportunists, like crabs, and are known to kill and eat small fish. They may seem to be fine with the fish during the day, and frequently are- it's if they happen to find a sleeping fish that there can be a problem. Best not kept with small fish.
