I can see it in the preview when I click the photobucket link, but it shows grey. :(

You guys better be making more of this one in the future!

I think once the tips start to grow back we could snip a few more, I also snagged the other half of this colony so that will give us some more breathing room.

Wow nice FRAGS ....getting mine Today! I've purchased many corals from CC and you would know the
quality of frags they sell. Amazing stuff thanks CC!

Im sorry, but is it just me or does the picture of your frag look nothing like the original colony picture???

It came in with the creamy base and the nice dark tips but it was muted from shipping. It isn't that killer color of the riginal picture but I hardly expected that from a fragged and shipped piece. My tank is running pretty high on nutrients as of late so I am not surprised that it is darkening a bit. It is also sitting off out of the main light on a frag tray, as I explained. I am not bummed at all with this piece. It will color back up once I get it out in light and some good flow. The beautiful turquoise polyps are not out as much either. I am seeing the polyps get the turquoise back though. I am not a stellar photographer either. I have no doubt this piece will be a show stopper in 6 months :D.

Hi Wayne, after reviewing the Wolverine acro thread I think you should be quite familiar with the coloring up process of acropora.

Mommy still has her color and I am sure the frags will come along nicely, here is an iphone pic in our AI Vega tank from last week.

Great shot of mama...Everyone will get different results from this piece depending on your tank but this is definitely a winner and a "must have" for milli lovers. I can't wait to see what it does in the next 6-10 months!!!

Wow Alicia your frag is AWESOME....Wish I got your piece much larger frag!!!
Nice Milli for sure

Well, since you mentioned it, yes I am very experienced with acros and occasionally dealing with browned out ones. That being said, out of the dozens of acros I've had shipped to me, never have I had one come in brown like that(i.e. assuming it came in that color).

That's good you're happy with your purchase and yes, hopefully it does color back up. I'd love to see updated pictures if it does. Good luck!

Wow Alicia your frag is AWESOME... about 3 times bigger than ours:(
Nice Milli for sure

Its color is nice and its quite fuzzy, thanks for sending me this photo. Shot taken through the bag as it had just arrived.

so in person is it cream with pink tips or blue w/ pink tips?
Very pale cream with light pink tips. Will be curious to see how/if my frag colors back up.

if you really look at the original pics of this piece the "tips" are pink about half way down. I believe we all got "tips" and its a matter of time before we get the blue "bottoms".

Exactly :). I think somewhere in this thread Brett or Todd noted they hadn't had the piece for a super long time. I think it will be well worth it in the long run :).

I was just asking if it's a blue base or a cream base. I guess time will tell what the base does, maybe it'll just turn out to be an insanely bright pink milli, like the Diablo...

Ian, the picture looks like a reddish tip into pink into cream into blue into purple. The polyps are really turquoise in the picture as well which may be why it looks so blue into purple at the base. The *** came in Witt he reddish tip, pink, into the cream. I think bay reefer hit the nail on the head in that we all got tips hence the cream base. I doubt we will get four to five colors on this as it grows into a colony but one can hope :D.

Got mine today. Nice size frags, but needs to do some coloring up. The freebie is looking very nice and good size too.

I'm amazed at the size of both frags! Both were huge and showed P.E. in the bag. What a great shipping method too.

Thanks again.
