Don't know if anyone is interested, but it's a chance to see behind the scene at the Tennessee Aquarium. As they say "guests are welcome"

Chattanooga Engineers Club Meeting Monday
The Chattanooga Engineers Club will meet at noon Monday, March 23, at the Chattanooga Convention Center at 1 Carter Plaza in Chattanooga.
Scott McKenzie, vice president of Special Projects at the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga, says several processes are required to keep the fish, butterflies, birds and sharks in the “swim of things†at the aquarium.
Achieving the proper conditions requires precise control of key systems: cooling, heating, pumping, filtering, blowing, sucking, exhausting, bubbling and ozonating. These systems maintain temperatures from 45 to 80 degrees with near 100-percent humidity and 100-percent reliability.
McKenzie’s presentation will include a description of the equipment layout and design considerations that went into creating the artificial environments for the creatures that live in the aquarium.
On March 30, the Chattanooga Engineers Club will tour the Ocean Journey basement and the third and fourth floors of the Tennessee Aquarium. Note: Free parking will NOT be available, and the CEC will not be serving lunch.
Professional Development Units (PDUs) are available for most technical programs at CEC meetings.
A buffet lunch for $14 will be available for attendees beginning at 11:30 a.m. Reservations are not required, and guests are welcome.
For more information, call Jim Schwall (423-752-2865) or Joe Robbins (423-756-4430) or visit the CEC Web site.
