My homemade PVC overflow

Siphoning ATO with simple float valve. Replaced the cup with a larger Rubbermaid container -- this was just the prototype. Sump is a repurposed acrylic tank.

Here's my 12 gallon long. AquaClear HOB with filter floss and carbon. Jebao wavemaker on one end and Koralia on the other. Tank uses an AquaAuto ATO and a single Kessil A80 lights up a portion of the tank. That was done on purpose for nice lighting affect where portion of tank is shadowed. Mostly LPS with Monti cap and Birdsnest. Additionally two Wyoming White clowns that have recently found the RBTA. Everything is growing like crazy!

I love all of your DIY. Do you have any plans for the pvc overflow?

I used this guy's idea. I played around with it until I got it as small as I could while having it still work.

I have a JBJ 45 gallon AIO softie reef with an Aquamaxx HOB skimmer, two Hydra 26 HDs and an ATO. I do biweekly water changes and dose ESV B-Ionic twice a week. It's now four years old and is very low maintenance.

3 jebaos sump mag 5 skimmer return pump. I do have an ato. Dose kalk with a brs pump and a mechanical timer. Oh the light is from noopsyche.
