cement colouring time

Hi All,

I am not very happy with the colour difference between mij AF rock and Stonefix cement. I can live with my aquascape but im even re-thinking if i'm going to start over with Marco Rock (Tank is two weeks in cycle )

Do you now how long it takes till i dont see the colour difference? and will the colours completly blend due to coraline?

Nature is not completely even coloration, so not sure why you seek identical appearance from dissimilar items. You may always have difference, but in a year or so it likely will all blend beautifully together, just like in nature. I sped mine up a little but if you are two weeks into cycle you are too early to buy coralline in a bottle.

In this hobby, everything good takes time. Only bad things happen fast. just take a deep breath and enjoy what you've already created!

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state.
