I was adding cured live rock to my tank. let it be hold, I was all thumbs today. I dropped a piece and it broke my center brace. I have a 37 gallon tank. I was wondering if there is a way to fix this. I went to home depot and bought a clamp to hold it for now. I am afraid that one day it will just crack and ill come home to nothing. What can I do? I do not have the means to upgrade the lights right now either. will the clamp help out temporarily? any advice would be great.

Keep the clamp on and get in contact with the tank manufacturer to get a replacement. Have someone there to assist you to help hold the tank and get the new piece on. Also drain as much water as you can, nice time to do a big water change though.

Yeah I was doing that on top of adding live rock. I think it was a blessing. I will be upgrading the tank to a 65 and getting a small 29 gallon for frags and my sons clownfish. Right now they are in a 10 gallon and 20 pounds of live rock and one anemone. I will get credit for the tank and use that toward the 65 gallon tank!! Blessing in disguise!
