Center brace

Do you think it would be safe to cut the center brace out of my 75 gal tank, i feel that it is blocking light penetration.

Absolutely not. The tank's integrity would be compromised.

Rimmed tanks need the extra bracing. Rimless tanks are built with much thicker glass to get a similar safety factor.

I have to fix my center brace I have ordered a clamp so I can glue it back so I won't be worried about it

The little blockage has little impact as the light diodes come down a degree angles

Ok thanks for the quick feed back i guess it just annoys me much more than the light blockage
