Hello everyone
I have a 54 gallon display and looking to get a nice center piece fish to go with it what are some good recommendations for fish that i could put in??

Thank you!!

There are many beauties out there for sale, but try and keep in mind what size tanks they are suited for and what there full size will be. My favorite fish get to be between 12 and 16 inches long and just about as high. Well my 120 just won't cut it. I think it would look cruel and dumb to keep a fish so big in my little tank. Take your time, do lots of research, and I'm sure you'll find the fish your looking for, that fits in your tank. There are some smaller tangs like the Yellow Eye that might be o.k. Pigmie angels are another choice, but they eat a lot of things you might want to keep. I love the look of Coral Beauties. Never had any do well for me. I really like the Lemon Peel, but they are much harder to keep.

Melanarus wrasses are beautiful and will even eat some things like flatworms and extra bristleworms. One would fit fine in a 54. Same with yellow coris wrasse if you like the look
