Does anyone keep these and what is their care like

Not much information in terms of care but some suggestions about how reclusive it may be in a tank.

Thank you, read about them in an angelfish book and remembered i hadnt seen one available for a while on DD, they mustnt be very popular or commonly imported

Never kept one, but has been caught by a local collector and is uncommon in the trade. Think it finally went to Japan.

Get ready to bust open your piggy bank if you want one.

Only 3 have ever been caught alive, so far as I'm aware. One went to B-Box Aquarium. I am not sure any have been caught in the last 5 years. The nigriocella is perhaps the holly grail Centropyge, you would be lucky to simply see one in captivity, the wild, or even a just a new picture of one.

Didnt realise they were that rare maybe im thinking i saw something else on DD then, im not really interested in buying one, just was curious, im very happy with my multibar lol

I agree paracentropyge is my favourite angel genus, and i would love a pair of multibars and a pair purple mask angels some time
