Cerith burrow?

This is probably a stupid question, but bought 5 cerith 7 days ago. I woke up this morning to my skimmer overflowing as I am still trying to figure out the right level and get it dialed in, but now I can't find anyone of my snails. Do these burrow? I tested the water due to the skimmer overflowing and everything is fine as far as water. It's just weird I can't find a single one all of sudden this morning. My clowns and trochus are doing fine

Cerith snails to bury themselves in the sand during the day. At times they will be active during the day but if there are any potential predators around they will remain in the sand until after dark.

Yep active at night in the sand during the day. Occasionally I'll see one out in the say time but that's not often.

Ok the reason I ask is that they were pretty active during the day when I first introduced them. I am on day 7 with them in and can't find one of them so I am assuming they are in the sand.
