Hello R2R! A couple reefer friends have been suggesting this site to me on and I'm just now getting around to make a post.

Tank specs...

Environment: Saltwater, Reef
Established: October 2011

Total Volume: 75 gallons
Display: 48 1/2″L x 18 1/2″W x 21 1/8″H

Substrate: Live sand

Filtration: Live rock, Cascade 500 canister filter, AquaClear 500 power filter, Coralife 65G Super Skimmer

Lighting: ReefBrite TechLED 48″ White, ReefBrite TechLED 48″ Blue

Circulation: Aqueon 500 A/C, Marineland MaxiJet 1200

Heater: Aqueon 200w, Eheim Jager 150w
Corals

  • Whisker (Duncan) coral
  • Green star polyps (GSP)
  • Kenya Tree corals

Fishes

  • Snowflake ocellaris clownfish

Invertebrates
  • Sand sifting sea star

@powers2001, I used to have several fish, but the snowflake ocellaris pair were enough for this soft coral hobbyist. I may try other fish later on.

And this concludes the evolution of the tank. Maybe I will post a photo showing the de-evolution. Unfortunately I've been battling a terrible HA infestation that is only now getting better, as well as a cyano bloom. H2O2 dosing and a suitable CUC has been instrumental in getting this under control. I will try to update this regularly. :)
