Cespitularia

Hey all, I just bought a frag of cespitularia. Had it shipped and YAY it made the shipment just fine. I’ve had it a little over a week but it has not extended in body or polyps. It has grown. It’s become plumper and new polyps forming. Just not extending. I have it on a rock on the sand bed. A bit of flow but not too hard of flow. My lighting is hipargo x2 And my tank is 72 gal. I have two power heads and I’m using two canister filters. I’m going to go sump soon. Any advice for my blue cespitularia is greatly appreciated.

Mine took a while before it got acclimated in mu tank and show it’s stems, then after that it send new shoots around the plug.

Two weeks or so, I thought it is a goner but suddenly flourished.

It’s still not expanding but developing lots of polyps. It’s def bigger then when I first received it. Nice and blue purple and no melting away.

Don't stress. Mine has split 6 times atleast and collectively is about the size of a football among the 3 colonies. They take a while to adapt but will jump across rocks and attach onto sand or close piece of rock.
