CF flashed and didn't come on

Just saw the CF in the nano flash and then not come on when the timer called for them. The funny thing is that neither of the two bulbs came on.

Does this mean the ballast just bit the dust?

Possible or the lamps themselves have burned out.

The bulbs are only a few months old and they both worked fine last night so I don't think they burned out.

The ballast cooling fan is running so I know it is getting power.

Sounds like the ballast. Not likely to blow both lamps at one time.

Usually when they flash like that it indicates that there is a problem with the wiring; either not connected correctly or not making contact. If it has been working then you know it is wired correctly so try to wiggle or reseat the bulbs in the sockets and see it that helps. After you do that you probably will have to turn it off and back on again to see if that worked (must be a Microsoft product).

I don't know what I did but it's working now. I unplugged everything, checked the fuse, removed the timer and plugged it straight into the outlet and it started working. I reinstalled the timer and it is still working. Hopefully it will continue to work.

I think the cost of a nano led retrofit is crazy. Plus at this point I am not really sure that I am glad I made the switch on the 150. I think I had better color and growth with T5s. Shhh, don't tell Richard.
