So I saw a chia pet the other day and I wondered… “has anyone put these in a tank with GSP?” Pics if you have. I’d do it myself but have no more space

I'll take one for the team. I have a new tank that'll be getting wet soon and try this little experiment. Which Chia pet should I try? lol

Unless you can guarantee that terracotta and whatever glaze was used on the pottery is reef safe, I'd skip it. Buy something from jestersix instead.

Also, an encrusting coral would be rad.

I’ve seen terracotta in some freshwater builds before but I definitely didn’t think about the glazes

But yeah an encrusting coral like a brain of some sort on say one of those skulls at the pet store would be awesome

And are the plants that grow on those even aquatic and saltwater friendly? I think they're terrestrial. It's amazing how quickly plants melt away in the wrong environment and lighting which might contribute to nasty spikes in parameters or possibly toxic to fish if they nibble on it.

Instead of Chia seeds we're going to use GSP
