Well i'm back! After a couple year break i've decided to get back in this crazy hobby! For those of you who don't know or remember me, i'm Brett. I live in North Salt Lake and am a Realtor by profession. I'm excited to be back in the hobby and look forward to meeting and interacting with you all!

This showed up today! A Red Sea Reefer 625 XXL. Display volume is 133 gallons with a total water volume of 165. 59"X23.6"X25.6".

I"ll be doing a video series that i'll link here with my progress and I'll be updating this regularly as I get things assembled and as other equipment starts coming in. Thanks!

Congrats! I ordered mine but am still waiting on delivery. Looking good

I got the stand mostly assembled and the tank put in place. I still need to adjust the feet on the stand to make sure its level. Once thats done I can put the base pieces in the stand, put the sump in and plumb it. Once its all plumbed and water tested i'll put the doors on.

Well i got a bunch done today and thought i'd share.

200 Lbs of "real reef" live rock delivered. I will probably only use 100 or less lbs. I want a minimalist scape.

Let there be light!

Can't wait to see it filled up and stocked! Keep those updates coming!

I hate the ato on this too. Same tank, same headache... I don't really have the space to have another type of set up so this will have to do for now :/

Glad i'm not the only one. One other thing I forgot to mention is that its a pain to fill up too. You pretty much have to pump water into the thing unless you want to spend an hour filling it up with a small enough vessel that will fit.

I've been out of the hobby for a while now so I decided to do a tour of my local fish stores yesterday. I hit 3 shops and was really impressed. So impressed that it got me excited to finally get some livestock in my tank. Here are the first additions to the 625!

Stunning pair of Frostbite Clownfish.

An Ultra Rainbow Bubble Tip Anemone. The clowns have no interest in it yet, hope fully once it gets a little bigger they will host.

Oh and I also picked up a huge cleanup crew!

Looking good! Those clowns are gorgeous!

Following your thread with interest, we also have a 625 xxl. Delivered a week ago so in the process of setting it up at the moment.
