Hey guys it noticed two single strands of what looks like chaeto algae, 1 growing from my trumpet coral and the other growing from my Goniopora. I've researched this and read that it's good algae but do I want this growing in my tank? Also is this possibly because of high nitrates or phosphates?

Its possible its Cheato, and yes, its the good stuff. But if its growing in your DT, ya don't really want it there, unless you plan on pruning it to keep it under control. High Nitrates and high Phosphates will make it grow faster.
