I am ready to add some chaeto to my refugium and have been having this anxiety that I will be adding pests with the chaeto. Have had friends add clean looking chaeto only to find out down the line they added pests like bristle worms and aptasia. What would be the ideal amount of time to quarantine chaeto? what would be your recommendations in what to look for when searching for any nasties.

Thanks in advance

The challenge with finding nasties in Chaeto is that its like a tangled fishing line. It's easy for things to "hide". We take the worry out of that, check out our clean chaeto: https://www.algaebarn.com/shop/macroalgae/clean-chaeto/

Yep you were my first choice but the pack I was looking at is out of stock at the moment :(
which is the extra small tank booster. I may have to wait and buy knowing it will be clean for sure.

Ill go ahead and put it instock for you right now. We have it, just haven't updated the stock

Would your golfball size be good for a nano hob refugium? How much is shipping

A golfball would be the perfect size. Shipping will likely be around $10-11, but if you spend $40 or more, we cover the shipping!

do the nano brine need to be dumped in the tank right away? or can they be refrigerated and used slowly?

The nano brine is designed to be a snack for the fish. We recommend dosing it shortly after they hatch. They don't do well with storage in the fridge for over a day or two once they have hatched.

You could order some phyto . I think Alage barn sells it. Find a hatching cone with air pump and keep them alive for a week.
