Hello all, I remember reading a tear or two back about the color of chaeto. I seem to remember that super dark green with slow growth meant something, such as iron deficiency or too many nitrates or something. Does anyone know about this? All I can seem to find now is “too much/little light”

Is it possible that you are not getting any new growth because of low phosphates and low nitrates?

@Crabs McJones

What are your phosphate and nitrate levels at? And just for curiosity what light source are you using?
