Hey guys,

First time reefer and learning rapidly.

I have scored a new chaeto reactor from a fellow reefer who went to a larger sump.

My question is does it need constant flow or can the pump be turned on when the lights are on at night?

Also does the chaeto need good flow or is it better to have slightly lower flow to allow more contact time?

I think it doesn’t matter as there’s just some sort of flow going on at all times
