Chaeto getting Eaten. Alternative?

My 20g has no sump and I really can't afford one right now, especially since I'm aiming to upgrade asap.

SO.

I've been trying to put chaeto algae in this tank, but my two turbo snails keep eating it. What alternative algaes might these guys not eat? Do I have to remove the turbos (would likely replace with ceriths)?

I'd replace the snails. But they all will more than likely find it and give it a munch down. You could try Shaving Brush Plant.

Okay. I was also looking at mermaid's fan?

Would dragon's tongue work?
