Chaeto reactor

Hello,

Besides this unit, are there any reactors that I can use for a chaeto/macroalgae reactor for my AIO?
I am thingking buying it seperately to save a little $.

That is a good set up. I built one out of a brs reactor for about $80-90 that works awesome as well. You can search threads for brs algae reactor for my build thread, or I'll post a link later if you interested.

I had re=purposed my aquamaxx biopellet reactors into algae reactors before Marine Depot put that package together. I did the small one and the large one, it is a very solid build and easy maintenance. Put the reactor in your cabinet , drop the pump in one of you back chambers and you're good.

You may have better results if you use a string of lights you wrap around the reactor. I use warm white lights with good results, but if prefer you could find full spectrum or red/blue. I got one string from Marine Depot and a couple more on Amazon.

I will give it a try first and if it does not work then I will purchase string of leds like the Accel or Amazon type.
