Just added chaeto to my fuge a week ago for first time. My concern is the coral banded shrimp in there. This particular shrimp decided to start going after my fish so he was condemned to the fuge. When I looked in there last, he was on the chaeto, eating. So, is the shrimp a danger to the chaeto itself or is he eating the living organisms that are supposed to be growing in there. Can he eat enough of them to be an issue?
Moving the shrimp will not be a problem but if there is nothing to worry about I will just let them go.

I don't think that the shrimp would eat the chaeto. Perhaps detritus or large copepods are in it and the shrimp's going after that.

Yeah I did not think it eating the chaeto itself was a concern but had to ask. I would imagine he is eating things like copepods in there like you suggested I just need to know if one coral banded is capable of eating TOO much to defeat the purpose of the chaeto being in there.
