Chaeto shortage

So bid chaeto shortage
So I bought sea lettuce it grew like crazy but it’s flimsy
Just tossed it all ! With a bazillion pods

cleaned entire fuge and paid $125 for 2 softball sized Chaeto

will see how it goes

Personally, I would have stuck with the Ulva. Yes, it tears easily, but in my experience, using Chaetomorpha was more of a hassle since mine fell apart and clogged my skimmer (it wasn't weakened, just very loose in composition).

Yes it seemed like a huge waste to toss it

Plus most tangs like the ulva.

I have also heard that pods prefer to live on Ulva over Chaetomorpha and that the former grows faster than the latter, but I never examined my Chaetomorpha close enough to confirm.

Yes the sea lettuce would find its way into display and my tangs generally ignored it lol
