Anyone have any idea what's going on with this chaeto? Has it gone sexual even though it's not supposed to? It's been like this for 2 months, growth has slowed to a crawl if at all. Doesn't seem to be dying off. I first thought it was micro algae growing on it but it seems to be sprouting these hairs. This started when I harvested way too much at once. Gha started breaking out. Nitrates and phosphates have been undetectable. I vacuumed out probably 80% of the GHA and the nitrates and phosphates were still undetectable the next day.

Edit* forgot to mention it had been a while since doing a water change. Maybe this is a reaction to nutrient depletion.

It's possible that some Taxifolia or sertulariodes got mixed with the chaeto.
