I added chaeto a little over a week ago maybe two weeks, I’ve got a small nano powerhead tp help with flow in the sump area where the chaeto sits in a basket. It’s still the same healthy green color so I’m wondering if that’s a good sign or if it wasn’t getting what it needs if it would be showing signs of dying

If it isn't getting what it needed you would likely see signs of it dying after two weeks. It sounds like it likes the lighting you have and flow so just keep an eye on your nutrients to make sure it doesn't consume them all

Sounds like it's doing ok.

I didn't notice a ton of growth the first week with mine. But slowly increased the light period from 6 to 11 hours over the last 3 weeks and it's definitely grown a lot since I got it.

I tracked my NO3 and PO4 and they were stable when I was running it around 8-9 hours a night.. when I bumped it up to 10 they were slowly going down. And then 11 dropped them pretty quick the last 6 days.

Got them about where I want them now and backed of the light back to 8 hours to see if they'll stay there.

The big dip at the beginning on Oct 24 was a large water change I did a few days before adding the chaeto. The other dip was a regular water change two weeks later.
