I purchased the chalice as a grape watermelon and the acan as a rainbow acan enchiata. The polyp on the acan is very big.... At least 2 inches...

Are these ID's correct? Also what's the best placement for the chalice? Thanks

Can't tell from pictures the exact names but both will do well on your sand bed with moderate flow.

FWIW my LFS has a Chalice that looks very similar to yours and they refer to it as an Alien Eye Chalice. I'm not really sure about the Acan.

The first is hard to say since it was taken under blue lights. If the eyes are indeed green. Then it is as "cloak" mentioned. It is an alien eye. If the eyes are yellow it is a watermelon. Grape if purple. Or what ever color description it is. Watermelon has yellow eyes alien has green eyes.

The second could very well be an enchinata. It is only one polyp so a bit hard to tell. Several spreading type acans look alike when small. After it gets a few more polyps. It may be easier to tell the type.

Thanks....it's hard to tell if it's yellow or green.....the acan has multiple heads, some small and some big
