Hello ive recently bought a tyree pink watermelon and it puts out feelers every now and then id it necessary to feed him? the frag has 2 full eyes and 2 half eyes. i have cyclops but would mysis be a good food as well? thanks for the advice

Mysis is great, they'll eat just about anything if you cut/smash it up enough. I love feeding chalice... mmm

should i put them in a small specimen container near the top of the tank for low flow and let them smell the food like acans??

I usually feed at night like an hour after the lights are out... typically most LPS will be at its best for feeding around those times ready to accept whatever you throw at them. I just kill my flow for an hour and feed all the corals... turn it back on when I'm done.

While defrosting the Mysis I pour the first cup of cloudy water into the tank before lights out. refil cup let defrost for about an hour then feed. The gunky cloudy mess seems to really stimulate the feeders.

very cool stuff im going to have to try this tomorrow just with flake and frozan cyclops dont have any mysis atm it also make me think i need to label and hook up all my circulation to one switch so i can kill them when i need too lol
