How do you have yours setup??????

I have no clue how people deal with these things, sandbed, rocks, frag rack. (blegh)

suggestions???

Just like any other coral.... you need to find out what conditions it likes, then find a spot where it is happy, then leave it alone and watch it grow...

Like one idea I had was to just get big uns from the as lternative reef and just put then close to each other

cHALICES HAVE SWEEPER TENTICLES, idk IF I WOULD PUT THEM TOO CLOSE TOGETHER, i HAVE A CHALICE COLONY THAT IS ABOUT 6X6 AND IT HAS AWEEPERS THAT COME OUT AT LEAST 3" AT NIGHT. jUST BE CAREFUL HOW CLOSE U PUT THEM TOGETHER, BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT FRIENDLY BY ANY MEANS. :)

+1

They're not like acans or zoas where you could have them touching. They'll nuke eachother and I've had some nuke acans too. Most like lower light and even shaded areas. Depends on which one and the colors your looking to get out of it.

I have some mounted to the rock structure, while others are clustered in groups on the floor.

I have all of mine on the sand clustered side by side since there's no room on the rocks. they have long tentacles but they dont sting each other. As long as they're in the same family it's fine. My original mummy eye touches a lot of my watermelons but doesnt hurt them at all. I have a mycedium I keep very far since they will sting them

I have most of mine on the rock structure also, plus i like to let them grow together, here is pastel chalice and purple urkle growing together and bubblegum monster and oregon mummy eye growing together
