Chalice growth v. Colors v. Light intensity

I know many view chalices as lower light corals. That said I've kept some in higher par areas as well with good results. Generally I keep mine in lower areas of my tank only because they are good at occupying those areas better than other coral.

Just wanting to see if there is anyone blasting them regularly with high intensity lighting and getting better than average colors and or growth. Par readings if you have them, as well as length of light cycle. If no par readings, then lost your light setup and distance etc so we can compare. Also the type of chalice as some I believe can take light better than others.

Another thing that would be nice to compare is how fast your moving them up in terms of light. One of the highest light chalices I've had to date I would say is the Hollywood stunner which I've had to about 350 par but had to move it up slowly to avoid bleaching.

Yeah I think stunners can tolerate more but I don't go higher then 200 par I have heard that from two reputable people

I to have stunner and Easter egg in higher light also I run two system connected one halide and one led

And Miami hurricane sorry and hear mummies get more yellow the higher up from really good source

I know it's not saying much but I have a stunner that started maybe 10 inches from the surface under a 300 watt led and the growth is insane started at a 4 eye frag and now has over 1000 eyes and is about 2 inches from the surface

I have a few in different systems, definitely get best color and growth under higher intensity. Ones on sand of standard 150g with 3 250w DE 14k M80 are growing the fastest and look the best. That's not too say that the ones growing under LED don't look good. However, I do have one piece in a biocube with LED that is growing like crazy. Haven't tested parameters in a while and am sure temperature ,nitrate and phosphate are high which could be a factor.
