Po4
And what can light you have under?

It's a biocube 29 with one truelumen pro fusion strip and 2 deep blue strips at around 50%

What kind test are you using, to check your water parameters?

Sometimes dipping can be harsh on the corals if you don`t follow the instructions. My advice to you is put your corals in a more shady area and with less flow, that has happened to me before too. He should recover. By the way,did you mix your own water or buy premixed water LFS.

I did try seachem zooplankton for the first time today I spot fed I think that might be the reason

Don`t try to feed him,he is already stressed out, just give him a little break and he will be fine, just keep an eye on him for a week or 2 , keep up your water changes on schedule and be sure your water parameters are good.

The look of that my guess the dip too strong or long. It looks like it was poisoned. What ever it was looks to have burned the flesh. Mycedium are pretty hardy, so hopefully an area will recover and grow.

I'm about 90% sure it was the seachem zooplankton I have a small acan frag that I fed today as well and it's not looking very happy either

Did you dilute the food correctly or add any additives to it? If too strong it may have burned the flesh. There is a lot of exposed skeleton.

Also, a lot of those foods are EXTREMELY acidic, if not diluted and directly squirted onto corals it could cause problems.

However, I'm still interested in what you used to dip.

Chalice love dirty water ...I mean a little bit hight P/N ..Your parameters perfect so low light, medium flow and feed ...feed...feed

I used seachem reef dip never had a problem with this product

Something was too strong for it and burned the flesh. I would place it in low light and flow and hopefully it will recover.

Mycediums can tolerate higher light than most other chalices. They are also fast growers. I also would not directly feed it, broadcast feed it. When the flesh looks like it is not peeling anymore. And starting to regrow. It would be better to feed it either lps pellets or frozen brine.
