Okay, I just received a couple chalices in the mail yesterday and noticed, what looks to be greenish/brownish stringy algae on them? Any suggestions on what it is? Any input would be great. Thanks! Oh,and sorry for the low quality pics.. I'm using my phone and had to zoom in a little

Might be zooxanthellae expulsion from shipping stress
Yea, I thought it could be that also. There is something else that I forgot to mention in the first post.. there seems to be some skeleton showing on some of the sharp points, more so in the first picture.

If it is in good conditions it will grow over. These guys can be difficult so keep a close eye out.

Give them some time to recover from shipping. I've done I dips on some if they looked to bad. Usually come back with time.

Id also keep it at the bottom of your tank for at least a week. It needs time to acclimate to your lighting.
