Just picked up this piece and was wondering if it had a name?

Also what type of chalice?

Thanks in advance...

It looks like one that seems to be showing up at a number of LFS. It has no "official" name but many LFS will give it one.

It is a tan-orange with black netting overlay. The chalice will get random green and blue blotches. Not sure the species of chalice but care is same as other chalices.

Thanks... In person its more gold
I thought I've seen an LFS post something similar...

You may have. I believe it has come up in a few posts asking ID. The color of chalices can morph depending on lighting. The one you have can become lighter or darker base color. Have seen it orangey-gold and browish-tan. The blue or green blotches are random. Some frags will get both colors. Others just a tiny dot or two of one color. The general chalice ID is "only if it was purchased with a name". Even if the chalice looks like a named one. If lineage can not be established. It is a no name chalice. There are some great gems that have no name. And they don't carry the named price tag.

Cool thanks... Waiting to see how the eyes look.. I see some pink in them...

I have one of those, Neptune's called it a gold snakeskin. I keep mine on the bottom with lowish flow (its flesh ripples a little bit). I feed it two or three times a week and has been growing well for me.

I paid $40 for it, it was the size of a small plug as I recall. I had 2 eyes when I got it and its up to 4 now. I don't recall how long ago I picked it up.
