So I have a ten gallon that has a Seachem Tidal 110 that provides 1/2 of the flow in the tank for my acros. The other have comes from my chaeto reactor output (which has a Vivid Aquatics RFG). I slowed the flow to the point where it is about 250-300 gph. However, this amount of flow still causes to make a bald spot in the sand bed, if I go any lower, my acros aren't as happy. So for the bald spot, I just plan to put a coral that can handle the flow. The flow is pretty much like a gyre, it goes from my filter, to the front glass, bounces down to the sand bed where there is now a bald spot, then back to the filter. Again, the coral will be placed at the bald spot to hide it.

One coral I am hope I can place is my Grafted Mycedium, which is a chalice. It is already in moderate high flow, but I am not sure if it can handle direct flow. It is already big, so I don't mind about growth, I just care if it is healthy. The reason I plan to put this one is because it's sitting on the sand bed, since there was no place to put it on the rocks.

If not, what other corals would you recommend? Preferably something that doesn't grow tall.

There have been times I've got my flow pretty much just how I like, but had sand well up in one spot, and I simply placed a flat rock in that spot, maybe this will work for you, and or give a place to put that chalice or even something else on maybe

Being a small tank, a flat rock would be an eyesore. If it was a bigger tank however, I would have put a clam on top.

Imma put the chalice there for now, I'll see how it reacts. Good thing they don't die as fast as some other corals, it should give me time to adjust if it doesn't go well.

If it doesn't work however, what's a coral you would recommend?
