Chalice looks a little different now than when I first got it

I got this chalice about 8-10 months ago and it's changed a bit from the first day I got it. Is that normal? Mainly the eyes are smaller.

Looks nice eyes were splitting and now it's settled in and grown also got ton of color. Nice job with it.

Oh, so it wasn't so healthy/happy when I first got it? I've been a zoa collector and just started getting into chalices earlier this year. Thanks!
