Chalice or favia?

Hi there,

got this from LFS few months ago and was told its a chalice but looks like a favia too?

colors just caught my eye, anybody knows the name by chance?

Enchinata probably one of the most colorful colony corals. Also one of the most aggressive be careful when placing add at least 3".
 
It looks like it has good potential. As it gets bigger, place it so that part of it has good light and part of it has more shade. You'll (usually) get even more color variation with echinatas. I have a large "orange crush" echinata that is usually orange with blue streaks. If I place part of it under shade, the eyes will turn green and the edges will get yellow. It's pretty cool. Unfortunately it's getting all good light right now and is just two colors. Thanks for reminding me to move it around some. :) You can already see this effect with yours a little bit. The edges are green where it looks to be a bit shaded.
 
True, thanks for the info, I have another echinata that's been with me for couple of years now and it does color up better on a shaded part

Let me try that with this piece, I'll post a new pict after a couple of weeks :)
