Mine went from 5-7 eyes to about 70 in one year. Then I cut it in half and sold multiple 5+ eye frags.

Once it gets settled in it will should grow very well.

nice pink sapphire......that corals looks sweet in person.....

Thanks, it is the only chalice I have seen with a dark blue base and pink "bubbles/upper tissue"(I do not know what those are scientifically called)

Been a while since I've taken a pic of this one... like the blob oozing over

Peter I know you hate to cut but that things is gonna take over the tank soon.

Nice growth....I'm digging the look of all of those chalices over-growing each other.....kind of the counter to a acropora dominated tank.

I'm sort of ignoring the inevitable problem it's going to become... :o

My Oregon ME has also overgrown its area...going to have to decide what to do with it. % %

I love how you've let it grow over the Miami Hurricane. LOL i guess that really shows how common that guy's become

I feel a bit guilty about that. What's interesting is that it constantly manages to stay ahead of the PB. The original MH frag was somewhere in the bottom center on that pic, not over to the left like it is now. So it's actually running away LOL.

Thanks! Here's a shot of my moster mash... slower grower, but still looking nice. The unidentified solid hot pink chalice on the floor of the tank is actually brighter than the ******* *gasp*

Thanks... it's interesting. Originally it just had the splashes of turquoise around the center. The stripes, especially those going our to the edge, have developed more over time...
