CB Miami Vice chalice, got it a while back via auction. It’s grown a bit since then, colors are really vivid, not so much in this pic tho

That's pretty nice looking. Where did you pick it up? I used to be a Montipora guy but I'm on the Chalice bandwagon these days. Psammnopora and all the other encrusting types just make me happy for some reason.

This is my mummy eye. I've had it for 9 months now and it has at least tripled in size. I will definitely be getting a couple more when I find ones I like with good color. Feed mine maybe once a month, either brine shrimp or pellets

WOW. Very nice. So sad to see large colonies get cut up. I understand some of the reasons why, but so rare to see a true colony.

I agree so much. However, had a friend not fragged his for me, this would never exist so it’s time to pass it on.

Let me put it in these terms, I also got board of catching fish many years ago but I found a love putting people on fish and watching them catch a fish of a lifetime. I can share this on the internet all by myself or put it in other reefers homes across the country and grow 3 more for my display. The answers easy to me, but I still highly respect your statement not to cut, it a beautiful animal indeed.

Do rainbow chalice, the red-orange eye/rim and blue with green eyes/rim have sweepers. If so, how long are they? I have a couple of chalices in my frag tank and wonder how close I can keep acans near them.

Naaah no worries with these rainbows or any I’ve ever had for that matter. These are peaceful chalice but other chalice types can be very harmful.
Now if you had a Hollywood Stunner like below, well..... lol
