Yea I have seen a lot of nice morphs happening under t5 lighting seems to give corals that better pop imo its why I'm going with an 8bulb ati fixture on my dt :tongue:

If it is all LPS thats the way to go. I just love my halides for my SPS. But I do get some CRAZY growth on my chalices under the halides too. But the colors are alot better with T5............

Bought this from cherry corals almost a year ago. Pic is bad but its a teal based red rim chalice with yellow/orange stripes on the rim as well. i believe it was called the CC Gecko chalice.

Thanks dave, it grows slow, but i never started feeding my chalices until a month ago with the fauna lps pellets, now im using the zoa/acan food and it has colored up very nicely. After almost a year its only grown maybe an inch across.
