How do you like that chalice? I almost purchased it the other day, but I wasn't positive on how true to color it was, since I haven't seen anyone post it, and I also saw another cornbread chalice that looked very similar.

honestly? it is prob my fav out of all the recent ones I have gotten... it is not the most $, but def catches your eye!

i didnt have a wysiwyg pic, but mine is much more of the red/orange of the mother

Blue watermelon chalice love this!

This weekend I saw this chalice frag in a fellow reefer's tank. He's on this forum too goes by Reefnjunkie. I did a trade with him and he brought it over today! It is amazing.... It really looks that good!:tongue: It is a blue watermelon on the base. I am told it will turn bluer in higher light. It really glows in the tank.:beauty:Some days I really love this hobby thanks Brad. 1smile1

I cant get a decent pic but here is what have left after it got nearly wiped out from a monti;

this is what TEC sent me as the main piece it came from when I got my frag

here is mine the picture does not really capture the colors all that well (not like yours did)-

So the TECO Bubblicious is just the the original TEC pink watermelon? Looks the same to me. Nice piece!

Totally Exotic Corals changed their name to Totally Exotic Corals of Oregon so I'd imagine it is the same.

That's right TECO and TEC are the same and this is not the same as the TEC watermelon. This is a different watermelon chalice.

The pic does not represent the colors well. The TEC which I also have has no blue at all. I think Jody (formely TEC, now TECO which was renamed after his business partner passed away) aquired the bubblelishous from Colorado Coral Addiction but I dont recall for sure

The piece is recovering and has lost alot of blue- I'll post my TEC WM and this later to show the differences-both great pieces with the TEC being a classic
