chalice sweeper

i just acquired my second chalice and this morning before the lights were on i noticed it had 1.5" sweeper tentacles coming out of the mouth... my other chalice never has sweepers out? i was wondering how many of you had chalices with sweeper tentacles and what kind are they? unfortunately my two are both no names, still pretty though. thanks for your time

Can you post a pic of the Chalice? If it is a Mecydium they can get sweepers that are up to 8" long.

i have a small 3 eye, 1" round chalice that when i turn the moon lights on with get 2-3" sweepers. its a no name $20 petco frag lol

Yeah it looks like a Mecydium to me, they get pretty long sweepers so I'd give it some space.

My rainbow explosion has like 3 inch sweepers. My miami hurricain comes in a close second with tentacle length followed by my tyree watermellon.

nice, i had no idea since my other chalice has none... i had some galaxia in another thank i had and that thing was a tiny frag but had huge sweepers, ive been trying to watch out for that since the galaxia stung some stuff in the nano, trying to prevent class warfare in the tank
