So today I purchased a small favia and chalice frag from my lfs.
Now I'm fairly new to these kinds of coral I typically prefer euphyllia but I wanted to try something new.
Well the guy at the store asked if he could place them in the same bag and I was like sure no problem.
Well I got home and they obviously touched in the bag. And let me tell you that favia is no joke.
Almost half of the chalice looks like it's withering away:( hopefully the other side didn't get bothered too much. But the favia definitely took the cake.
I still feel like the guy should've known better than to mix the two. Because I had no idea there would be any issues. I only asked about tank specs and such didn't even think about warfare.
Anyone feel like I should take the chalice back?

If they will, do it

Agreed! He was responsible for the packaging of the corals. Good luck, be prepared for the no refund speech though.

They should honor a refund. The worker should not even asked about bag sharing. It should not even be an option. Most places will honor money back for employee error. Most assured if error is from ill-trained employees.

Get grief= posting on all local & Reef2Reef about their great customer service

If you get grief from them or in other words no satisifaction from them make full use of the vendor feedback of this forum and and the same on local club forums.
