My chalices and Acans which I've had for 6 months-2 years and we're doing well and growing have stopped growing and are recessing. Chalices seem to be struggling more.
Acans fare better in my nano cube (same water) so thought it was flow related but now my chalices in low flow areas in the tank are also struggling.
Have tried spot feeding a few times per month and also dosing amino acids, phytoplex and zoo Plex and still no improvement.
When initially my spa was struggling my Acans and chalices faired best, now it's the opposite. And I don't think it's low nutrient issue as tank houses around 40 well fed fish. Parameters were around below values in the last months
All 8-9
Ca 400-420
Mg 1200-1300
Nitrate 1-5
Phosphate 0.03-0.07

No changes. I did add a couple of LEDs to my halides and T5 but their mostly dimmed and work most for actinic and moonlight.

Bayer Dip All Your LPS.

I have had this happen before.

All LPS just start Receeding and Dying.

Zoanthids and SPS are Never Affected just LPS (Favia, Chalices, and Acans seem to be affected the Worst).

I was advised to Dip My Chalices in Bayer and the Receeding Stopped.

I will Warn you this happens very very Fast.

I would Dip All LPS in Bayer Immediately.

I refer to this as the LPS Plague.

I can always dip them but only scans and chalices are affected. Euphikias and other kid are doing great should they also be dipped?
