Chalices receding

I switched salt and my mag shot up to 1500 plus and kh went down from 12 to 8. 3 of my chalices started to recede. Any advice how to save chalices?

They may just be annoyed as chalices expand a fleshy layer around them and pull it back when freaked out about something. I'd say to get the mag/alk back to where it was without shocking anything again *slowly*

I agree with above. Also place them under shaded area to help them from receding or getting bleached.

Maybe dim or cut back your lights a bit rather than moving the chalices, as that could stress them as well.
