got this when i bought out someone's tank. just wondering if it's got a name it goes by, or what it's similar to

Lets not coin the name Pink ******* to it yet,it looks very similar, but lets not do that right now.

The color looks a little lighter than most PB's I have seen, but that dosent mean anything.I think that it is similar, but the eye color dosent match up just right, but to anyone who has no idea what the real deal looks like,it would qualify as a look a like pink *******,since there is no linage on it,no way we can say ya is really is PB.

It looks very close to pb..but i would say it isnt...the eyes arent vivid enough..but it is still an awsome piece!

You should try to contact the original owner for verification. Lighting plays a big part on how a coral appears. So does the conditions it's under. I'm about 95 percent sure this is either pink ******* or vivids. Check the lps thread to compare other pics of it. In the thread Marvin shows 2 pics of his colony and though we know it's the same chalice, it looks completely different. Maybe Peter, Sdguy will chime in and give his expert opinion.

FYI-There isnt a diffirence is Vivids PB and original PB,they are said to be the same, apperently a guy bought some from Vivid and them turned them into PB,they are the same,Vivid imported the colony.

colored up a bit.

previous owner didn't even notice this chalice in his collection. which means to me that it is a wild colony.
