I recommend keeping chalice and echinophyllia corals lower in the aquarium with moderate flow and low to moderate light. If you notice the color fading then it is receiving too much light. Many chalices do well partially shaded under a ledge.

Its currently glued to a rock on the sand bed in med flow..will keep an eye on it .thanks

Beware they will attack other Corals around them I have a Miami Hurricane Chalice that's about 1" around and will Kick out about a 4-5" Feeder tentacle that will Sting the Heck out of everything around It.
